you know spring is in the air when cherry blossoms are everywhere, even though the temperature is only hovering around 40 degrees. if such a delicate flower is striving in the cold who am i to complain about the wintry weather.

speaking of wintry weathers i must continue my march northward where snowy storm is to be expected on friday. i don't know why i do this. news has come that down in our beloved new orleans it is a swampy 85 degrees. in any case i'm packing my bags and will write to you once i'm settled in the northeast.
